Pillar 5 – Open Data & Tools
VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) are working to characterize and further improve different existing open models and tools that are most applicable to Global Power System Transformation Consortium (G-PST) activities through an open tools portal with a classification approach, available on G-PST’s Github. Additionally, G-PST is supporting the application of these open tools and data with developing country partners.
