Activities and Impacts

Technical exchanges have featured leading experts from the Electric Power Research Institute, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the Energy Systems Integration Group, and the Australian Energy Market Operator, offering best practices and strategies that can be deployed by ONS. This collaboration aims to strengthen Brazil’s energy infrastructure by leveraging advanced tools, knowledge, and methodologies in renewable energy integration and grid management. Through these knowledge-exchange workshops, ONS will be better positioned to implement cutting-edge solutions to support the stability of Brazil’s power system while using very high shares of variable renewable energy resources, ensuring greater reliability, efficiency, and sustainability.
