G-PST's impact on the power system is not just numbers or values. All G-PST members support each other, because we are facing an unpredictable future. Finally, we are asking the right question. What future do you want to create? By answering the right question together, our next generation can enjoy a sustainable world.  

It is possible, that is why we are here.  Go back 20 years and people said you’ll wreck the power system.   It took people stepping up and providing real leadership and real vision to get us where we are today. That is what it takes to achieve progress.

G-PST is unique because the system operators and the practitioners are working deep in the issues they are trying to solve. It’s not only that they are researching on those issues, it is that they are dealing with those issues every day, and they are solving the issues at the same time.

You cannot live in this world without collaboration. There are so many things that have been done. You don’t want to reinvent the wheel and spend months and years on something that has been already been done. G-PST is group of people, made up of utilities, that are quite a few steps ahead!

Sulawesi, Indonesia forecasts a huge uptick in near-term demand that will primarily be met with new renewables. We broadcast G-PST’s webinars to pertinent PLN staff to see innovative and modern ways global utilities are embarking on higher penetrations of variable renewable energy.
