The Global Power System Transformation (G-PST) Consortium will be highlighted during the Opening Plenary Session: 100% Clean Energy – The Accelerating Demands of the workshop. This session will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2:00 – 3:15 p.m. (EDT – US). Mark O’Malley, chair of ESIG’s Research & Education Working Group will discuss how ESIG’s Toward 100% Renewable Energy Pathways: Key Research Needs Workshop served as the starting focal point for the G-PST Founding System Operators’ research agenda, and how the overall GPST effort is taking shape.
